A Time for Celebration and Reflection: QOHO's National Day & Mid-Autumn Festival Notice

Wishing You Joy, Prosperity, and Reunion

Dear Valued Customers, Partners, and Friends,

As we embrace the golden transition into autumn, QOHO sends its warmest greetings for the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival. This unique holiday period, where two significant celebrations converge, offers a perfect moment to cherish family, reflect on heritage, and celebrate national pride.

Two Festivals, Deep Roots

This week-long observance brings together ancient tradition and modern history, giving us pause to appreciate our collective journey.

The Mid-Autumn Festival: A Tradition of Reunion

The Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival, is one of the most important traditional holidays, with roots tracing back over 3,000 years to ancient moon-worship ceremonies and harvest celebrations during the Zhou Dynasty. It is universally celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. It is a powerful symbol of reunion, which is why families gather under the full moon to share a celebratory dinner and exchange the iconic treat—the mooncake. We encourage everyone to take this moment to connect with loved ones.

National Day: Commemorating the Nation

Immediately following is the celebration of National Day, a modern holiday that holds profound significance. This day commemorates the formal proclamation of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1, 1949, marking a new era for the nation. It is a time for national pride, reflection on progress, and widespread celebration across the country.
